Child Care Resource & Referral

Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) is a hub of services available to families, child care providers, and the community. Come by to visit one of our Children’s Resource Libraries, and learn important information about child development, how to find child care openings in local programs, and other ways we support quality early learning in child care facilities.

 In addition to checking out materials from our Resource Libraries to supplement their classrooms, Blue Ridge CCR&R supports excellence in local child care classrooms by offering engaging professional development workshops for staff, with credits and CEUs available. CCR&R staff can provide support to child care providers through Technical Assistance based on classroom assessment tools, with follow-up coaching and mentoring available for classroom staff members.  Opportunities for professional development will be posted as soon as possible.  Please check back with us for these dates.
